Kids Alive!

It's funny you know, that many people think of Bath Street Marine Table Tennis Club as being for the 'more mature' adult! It may be true that the Club's ‘niche’ market is the ‘more mature’ adult, with vibrant daytime sessions of social table tennis almost every weekday morning. However, for a small club, we also have a very exciting and comparatively new junior section.

Six juniors aged from 8 – 13 are now regularly meeting on a Monday afternoon after school for the weekly coaching session and two of these juniors have already made their full debut in the Liverpool & District Table Tennis League. We hope that some of these juniors will also be able to take part in the L&DTTL Junior Development Division which is due to start on Monday 14 November at Anfield Sports & Community Centre. This is a great opportunity for juniors, not yet fully ready to play in the league, to meet with each other and try their hand at some competitive table tennis.

The simple fact is that junior table tennis is also alive and well at Marine. Here’s a couple of pictures of some of the current crop of juniors.
