Christmas comes early!

It is only just the start of December and it seems that Christmas has come early at the table tennis club! As a result of two exceptional donations from two local businesses, the club has unveiled its brand new club T-shirt. The gift of the new shirts came today, and the first team to wear them was the A Team from Div 2 of the Liverpool & District Table Tennis League.

This extraordinary gift came about through contacts made by Club Secretary, Keith Hardman and Club Chairman, Bernard Cooney with two local businesses. Property developers, Solo Properties, owned by Mr Jimmy Chen, and the entertainment & leisure business, Ferndale Lodge owned by Mr Frank Cummins. These two business men had seen the facilities the club offered and witnessed first hand the way the members participated in the community and were also impressed by the way the club was run and managed. So much so, that they each offered sponsorship. They joined with existing supporters The Care Trust and Marine in the Community, and the result this brand new top quality table tennis T-shirt that is to be provided to all of the club's teams playing in the Liverpool League.
