Spring is Here!

Now that spring is here once more although the main table tennis season might be drawing to a close, it seems many may want to take table tennis outdoors! A great idea, given the lovely sunny North West weather! Despite the risks from the weather there are many exciting opportunities in and around Liverpool for outdoor ping pong!

Club Secretary Graham Turner, saw this innovative twist on a table tennis table recently, so if you go down to the woods today you're sure of a big surprise! table tennis might be there!

Indeed, there are many outdoor table tennis opportunities throughout Liverpool this year, just see the list below, and not to mention the Ping Pong parlor in St John's shopping centre that we mentioned previously. There is a big challenge there this week.

What of our own Club ambitions? We are continuing to work towards having a new club room as soon as possible, and in time for the demolition of the existing club room. We are waiting on news about our funding bid, and we hope we will hear more about that very soon. In the meantime, a further £500 was raised towards the new building at the most recent club social evening. Thanks to all who supported that.

This is what we think the new building will look like, at least in outline. Let's all get behind this project and make it happen!
